AdventureWeaver — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AdventureWeaver, developed by Bravo Zulu Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using AdventureWeaver, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. AI-Generated Content

AdventureWeaver uses artificial intelligence to generate stories, characters, dialog, and illustrations. You acknowledge and agree that:

• No guarantee of originality: AI-generated content may inadvertently resemble existing copyrighted works, characters, settings, or storylines. We do not claim that generated content is original or free from similarity to third-party intellectual property.
• No copyright ownership: Stories generated by AI may not be eligible for copyright protection under applicable law. You should not rely on generated content for commercial purposes without independent legal review.
• Content variability: AI outputs are inherently unpredictable. Generated stories may vary in quality, coherence, tone, and length. We do not guarantee that every generated story will meet your expectations.
• Content filtering limitations: While we employ safety filters and content moderation, AI-generated content may occasionally include themes, language, or scenarios that some users find unexpected or objectionable. We cannot guarantee that all generated content will be suitable for all audiences.
• Personal use only: Generated stories are provided for your personal entertainment. You may not redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit AI-generated content from AdventureWeaver.

2. On-Device AI Conversations

NPC conversations are powered by Apple's on-device Foundation Models. These conversations are processed entirely on your device. We have no control over or responsibility for the outputs of Apple's on-device AI models. Apple's own terms and conditions apply to the use of on-device Foundation Models.

3. Story Generation Credits

• Credit consumption: Each story generation attempt consumes one credit. Credits are deducted when generation begins.
• Technical failures: If story generation fails due to a technical error on our end (server error, AI service outage, etc.), your credit will be automatically refunded.
• Subjective dissatisfaction: Credits are not refundable based on subjective dissatisfaction with the quality, content, or length of a successfully generated story. AI-generated stories vary in quality by nature.
• No expiration: Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.

4. In-App Purchases

• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Standard EULA and refund policies.
• The Adventure Pack is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently unlocks premium content and grants story generation credits.
• Adventure Credits are consumable and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• The Adventure Pass is an auto-renewable quarterly subscription. It will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

5. Account and Data

Your account is created through Sign in with Apple. Generated stories are stored locally on your device. Your credit balance and purchase history are stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection and use.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AdventureWeaver to:

• Attempt to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to circumvent content filters or safety measures.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app or its AI models.
• Use the app in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

AdventureWeaver is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• AI-generated content will be accurate, original, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• Generated content will not resemble existing copyrighted or trademarked works.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bravo Zulu Apps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the app.
• Any content generated by the app's AI systems.
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bravo Zulu Apps LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of AdventureWeaver or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AdventureWeaver after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Virginia.
