AdventureWeaver — Privacy Policy

Bravo Zulu Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our") built AdventureWeaver as a commercial app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use AdventureWeaver.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the app's features:

• Apple ID identifier: When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique, app-scoped user identifier. We do not receive your real name or email address unless you choose to share them.
• Purchase history: We track your in-app purchase transactions and credit balance on our server to provide story generation credits.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Location data
• Contacts or address book
• Photos, camera, or microphone
• Browsing or search history
• Health or fitness data
• Device advertising identifiers
• Analytics or usage tracking

How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: Your Apple ID identifier is used to create and manage your account via Amazon Cognito.
• Credits: Your purchase history and credit balance are stored in our database (Amazon DynamoDB) to manage story generation credits.
• Story generation: The story parameters you provide (genre, theme, tone, difficulty, length, character names) are sent to our cloud service to generate your story. These parameters are not stored after generation is complete.

On-Device AI

NPC conversations use Apple's on-device Foundation Models. These conversations are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers or any third party.

Stories You Create

Generated stories are saved locally on your device. We do not have access to your saved stories.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): For user authentication (Cognito), credit management (DynamoDB), and AI story generation (Bedrock). See AWS Privacy Policy.
• Apple: For Sign in with Apple authentication and in-app purchases. See Apple Privacy Policy.

We do not use any advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Data Retention

Your account data (user identifier, credit balance, purchase records) is retained as long as you use the app. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

AdventureWeaver is rated 9+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app requires Sign in with Apple, which is managed by the child's parent or guardian through Family Sharing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
